Chairman’s message
Mohammed Abdul Majeed — Chairman MJS · President N.E.W.S
Welcome to MJ School, a member of Nauras Education and Welfare Society (NEWS). As Chairman, I feel privileged to lead the school as we enjoy the facilities of our learning centre.
The main purpose of our school is to provide children with an education that prepares them for success in the world while staying strongly connected to the fundamental tenets of Islam. At MJS the new generation can learn the Arabic language and Deeniyat, and can become Hafiz within the same period. We encourage students to follow their interests, develop new skills and fully enjoy school life.
MJS is committed to academic excellence and Islamic development for every student in our care, and to an ethos that nurtures a love for all humans regardless of race, religion and nationality. Our parents deserve special thanks for their continuous support. MJS has been established with a vision to raise students to great heights in academic as well as Islamic studies, In shaa Allah.

Our vision at MJS is to ensure excellence in both academic performance and Islamic values, producing a new generation who are committed, compassionate and hard-working citizens ready to contribute positively to society.
Our purpose-built environment allows students from Prep to Grade 7 to succeed through a focus on communication, literacy, numeracy and social skills. The curriculum has been developed to meet the State Board requirements, with Early Years Literacy giving a solid foundation in primary school. We encourage parents to take an active part in school life, and support students and families through our well-being team.
